Turbomixers with capacity up to 1500 liters and Coolers with capacity up to 4500 liters for the preparation of PVC compound
PVC batches are used in powder and subsequently transformed in granules, for the following processing with extrusion, injection and other plants.
WORKING TECHNOLOGY
In the turbomixer is inserted a PVC powder together with other solid or liquid additives.
A screw rotating at high speed, pulled by a motor with a high power, mixes the mass in powder and, in a time of 10-15 minutes, heats it to a temperature of 120-130°C.
At the end of the established cycle, compound goes in a cooler (normally a slower and horizontal mixer) that, due to the thermal exchange, cools it to a temperature of 40-50°C.
The homogenizing of all components and their heat-permeation creates a “compound” ready for the following transformation (direct use in extrusion or transformation in granules for injection machines, etc.)
